Noah Nakell is a sculptor based in Portland, Oregon. He creates small scale, intimate works which explore the concept of human fragility and our relationship with the natural world. The scale and narrative characteristics of his sculptures bring to mind dioramas found in history museums. Nakell's work incorporates a variety of materials, including polymer clay, found plant matter and model making supplies, utilizing them in unconventional ways.

Noah received a B.F.A. from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington and has exhibited nationally, notably at Smack Mellon in Brooklyn, New York, The Portland Building, and Portland Art Center, both in Portland, Oregon.
